I've been following Amanda Cerny on Vine, Instagram, and Snapchat for quite a while now, and I must say, I can't believe I got to interview her! If you follow her on any of her social media platforms, you know that she's just simply hilarious! Her content is edgy and sexual, and she puts a twist on her work that just leaves you in stitches. She's been producing content since Vine released, and has been sticking with it ever since, getting over 4.3 million followers, and over 2billion loops on Vine alone. She also isn't hard to look at ;) check out the interview below:

OTC: What’s your name?

AC: Amanda Cerny

OTC: How old are you?

AC: 24

OTC: Where are you from originally?

AC: Born in Monroeville, PA, but raised in Connecticut and South Florida.

OTC: What’s your strongest memory of your childhood?

AC: Summers in Connecticut with my two sisters and running through all of my mom’s amazing gardens, eating all the fruits and veggies we found growing in them.

OTC: If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

AC: Los Angeles, where I currently live. This is the best place for me to be productive in my career, and there is such a great energy here. I do love traveling, though. Of course, living on a private island in the Caribbean isn’t a bad idea also!

OTC: Do you travel a lot?

AC: I make sure I do. If it is not for work, it is so I can meet some of my fans around the world, experience different cultures, and create some new and interesting content for my social media. I learn so much every time I travel. I love it!

OTC: Which country that you’ve been to is your favorite and why?

AC: It is hard to pick a favorite here, but I do love Greece. Oh, and Italy… And Sweden… and The Bahamas… ugh I just love it all!

OTC: How was your recent trip to Dubai?

AC: It was absolutely amazing! It was such a spontaneous trip that my best Friend, Andrew Bachelor, and I decided to go on. It is such a beautiful place. Everything is so clean, the architecture is mind blowing, there is so much to do, and the people there were so kind!

OTC: What’s the craziest thing that happened on the trip?

AC: We went on the dune buggies in the middle of the dessert with all of the sickest equipment and toys to play in the sand with. It was the best time. Spent the entire day riding around and jumping off these huge dunes. Once it got dark, we turned it into a dessert campfire party with a dj and everything! Then we drove back to the city to go out one last time before rushing to the airport to head home to LA.

OTC: How did you get into Vining?

AC: I started pretty much at the beginning of Vine. I thought the platform was a fun way to make comedic skits. There were only a few of us doing this at the time, so we would recognize each other on the platform and reach out to collaborate together. From there, we grew a strong community of influencers.

OTC: Did you ever think your Vines would become this popular?

AC: The amount of people that follow all of my different social media account is definitely mind blowing. I am so lucky to have so many friends online that support and enjoy my content.

OTC: What did you do when you hit your first 1 million followers?

AC: I’m pretty sure I posted a vine thanking my audience, and then just got back to work by continuing to make more content for them.

OTC: How has Vine impacted your life?

AC: It has definitely given me more of an opportunity to express my creativity without the restrictions of a studio telling me what I can and cannot do. It has also opened up more opportunities for me across all mediums in entertainment, especially more in traditional acting, a network series, along with a lead role in a feature film. Definitely more to come! I'm excited and so thankful for social media being as influential as it has become.

OTC: What’s your favorite part about creating Vines?

AC: I can shoot any Idea I think of and reach an audience with it. I do a lot of Facebook videos and Instagram videos as well. These give me a chance to create longer content and convey even stronger messages within my comedic skits. Snapchat is a great place for me to tell my #ACernyStory as well, haha! If you have me added on there, you know exactly what I am talking about.

OTC: Which of your Vines is your favorite and why?

AC: I love the one I did with Logan Paul and Brandon Bowen about gold diggers, but I have made so many that it is hard to choose the best one.

OTC: Who do you enjoy collaborating with most and why?

AC: I collaborate a lot with all of the social media influencers. Mostly the other top 20 viners that have moved onto other platforms as well making long form content.

OTC: Who is your personal favorite Viner?

AC: Duhhhhhh myself! Hahaha I think you knew that answer was coming!

OTC: Is having a good connection with the person you’re collaborating with important to you?

AC: Of course. This makes collaborating fun, and allowing the brainstorming of ideas for videos to become even more creative and hilarious.

OTC: What if you don’t click?

AC: I mean, that is fine I’m sure. Good thing about vine is that it only could take up to two hours at most to film a vine, and sometimes even only five minutes. So I guess if that were to ever happen, I'd just choose a concept that only takes five minutes to film haha!

OTC: Do you have a special ritual you do before or after creating a Vine?

AC: Not really. Sometimes I'll just write my ideas down for later use in my notes. And, of course, just editing it on my phone for an hour to save, and post for the following day.

OTC: Have you made any friends in the Vine community? How do you help each other?

AC: Yes! Everyone are friends. That is what is nice about vine. Everyone is open to helping out each other with collaborating and/or filming content.

OTC: How long does it take to get the average Vine created?

AC: It depends on the idea but anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.

OTC: What’s the craziest thing you’ve done to get the perfect shot?

AC: Probably injured myself, or made a fool of myself in public. Trust me, it happens often lol!

OTC: What’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you on set?

AC: Hmmmm. Probably a bunch ton fans showing up to where they found out I was filming, and gave them all a part of a scene to be in.

OTC: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

AC: Happy and healthy, and still rocking it in La La land.

OTC: Professionally, what’s your goal?

AC: Making amazing content with higher production value. And starring in many large feature films. Angelina Jolie is a great inspiration for me here. Also, with a few successful entrepreneurial business ventures underway. I went to school at FSU for business, so I have to make sure that I make some use of that as well. ;) Oh, and saving the world.

OTC: Tell me about the editing process for your Vines

AC: Usually I can just edit on iMovie on my iPhone, and it will take from 10 minutes to an hour. But sometimes I need to sit down on my desktop and go at it for a couple of hours to make the timing and effects perfect.

OTC: What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

AC: Drink some warm water with lemon, and him the gym!

OTC: Tell me about your diet and workout routine

AC: Well, I basically did above, ha! I do not eat any animal products, and workout once a day. Sometimes I’ll switch up my workouts by going for a hike, running sprints at the track, or just doing some HIIT training at the gym.

OTC: What are 5 things you can’t live without?

AC: Water, food, travel, nature, and music!

OTC: What superpower would you have and why?

AC: Teleportation. It would save a lot of time that I would normally spend traveling on planes, and going through customs at the airport.

OTC: Are you an early bird, or a night owl?

AC: I tend to switch it up.

OTC: Sun or snow?

AC: Sun

OTC: What’s your favorite drink?

AC: Kombucha

OTC: Do you go clubbing a lot?

AC: Eh, only if it's a big event or celebration. I am actually not a huge fan of nightclubs. I am more into house parties with friends or lounges/cool bars.

OTC: What’s your favorite shot and why?
