I've been following Alex Lee for quite some time, and I finally reached out to her to see if she was interested in doing this interview. She has a very natural, innocent look, and I often find myself captivated by her beauty. Feel free to stalk her Instagram, but be warned, once you start, you won't be able to stop! OTC: What is your name?
AL: Alex Lee
OTC: How old are you?
AL: 18
OTC: How tall are you?
AL: 5'7 1/2
OTC: How did you get into modeling?
AL: I was scouted in a mall about 2 years ago. At that time this mother agency in my city (Nashville) was holding a model search. Over 300+ girls entered and they picked 5 finalists! They ended up signing us all!
OTC: If you didn’t model, what would you be doing instead?
AL: If I never got into modeling I would probably have a different outlook on life in general. Modeling has given me so many opportunities that not every girl gets to say they did. Hopefully I'm able to pursue it full-time soon!
OTC: What would you change about your personality & look?
AL: I wouldn't change a thing to be honest. I think that's what makes me stand out! If anything I've always wished that my hair was a darker color and that I had a few freckles on my face!
OTC: Where are you from originally?
AL: I'm from Dallas, Texas but my mother is Bolivian and my father is Norwegian!
OTC: Do people often assume you’re from somewhere you’re not?
AL: Absolutely. Many times people can't tell where I'm from cause I'm mixed! Bolivian, Incan, and Norwegian! Cool combination!
OTC: Do you travel a lot?
AL: Yes, I love it so much. Being able to experience and see a different culture. The history, the people, the art that is unique to each country. I adore it.
OTC: Where, that you’ve visited, is your favorite country?
AL: I fell in love with Italy. It's so beautiful an historic there. I'm such an art enthusiast and being able to be in one of the oldest cities in the world (Rome) was truly breathtaking.
OTC: Where would you love to visit, and what would you do there?
AL: Santorini, Greece hands down. The architecture and the picturesque scenery make me want to pack my bags and go there right away!
OTC: What is the one place in the world you wish you lived in?
AL: I wish I lived in Paris. Such a beautiful city!
OTC: Where is the one place in the world you feel safe?
AL: Asuncion, Paraguay. My family is there and being around them is so nice.
OTC: What is the one thing you want to experience before you die?
AL: Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef!
OTC: Describe your dream vacation
AL: Somewhere exotic and tropical with gorgeous scenery.
OTC: Are you close with your family?
AL: Absolutely! They're my everything.
OTC: What does “beauty” mean to you?
AL: Beauty is in everyone and everything... but confidence is what makes a person beautiful in my opinion.
OTC: Do you read all of your Instagram comments?
AL: Sometimes! I do love to see feedback on new photoshoot pictures!
OTC: What’s your opinion on Instagram forcing women to censor their nipples?
AL: I'm all about #FreeTheNipple. I think the body is beautiful! My grandmother is an artist so I'm used to seeing nudity in artwork and photography where a woman isn't being sexualized and is simply nude is beautiful to me.
OTC: Which makeup product couldn’t you live without?
AL: LIPSTICK!!! Can't go anywhere without poppin' on a pretty shade.
OTC: If you were stuck on an island, which 5 items would you NEED to have with you?
AL: Water, music, a good book, perhaps a friend, and avocados. I can't live without avocados.
OTC: What was the last book you read?
OTC: Who is your favorite model and why?
AL: Emily Ratajkowski: Not only is she beautiful but she's extremely intelligent too. I would like to have a career like her where she's been able to also pursue acting and be active in social and political issues.
OTC: Who is your favorite photographer and why?
AL: I love David Bellemere because he captures natural beauty so well.
OTC: Which photographer would you like to shoot with most and why?
AL: Mario Testino. He has shot many iconic images!

OTC: What kind of music do you mostly listen to?
AL: Alternative and Indie Rock
OTC: What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
AL: Wash my face and drink water with lemon!
OTC: What is something you have tried, but will never do again?
AL: Cow Tongue. It was awful.
OTC: What quirky habit do you have?
AL: I make really goofy faces and do impressions.
OTC: Who is your best friend?
AL: Karlee Lyons! She's my #1 and has been there for me through it all.
OTC: What is the one thing you did in your past you wish you could undo?
AL: I tried changing what I looked like because kids would bully me in middle school for being tall and skinny.
OTC: What is your biggest fear?
AL: Not achieving my goals.

OTC: Would you rather be loved or have a lot of money?
AL: Be loved.
OTC: What is the happiest memory from your childhood?
AL: Being carefree!
OTC: What is the most embarrassing moment of your life?
AL: That's a hard one, I have a tendency to embarrass myself a lot. Probably having to put pee on myself after getting stung by a jelly fish. It worked.
OTC: Who has influenced you the most in your life?
AL: My mother. She has always been supportive of me and has helped me to achieve many of my goals.
OTC: What is something you used to do as a child that you wish you could still do?
AL: Sleep 10,000 hours.
OTC: What is the one movie that influenced your life the most?
AL: Shindler's List... Such a beautiful and touching movie.
OTC: Describe your diet and workout routine
AL: I eat very healthy. I stay away from processed foods, high sodium content, high sugar content, and anything with preservatives. Pretty much a natural diet with natural fats and such. I work out consistently because I'm a Cross-Country runner. Typically, my workouts consists of lots of cardio, localized body workouts, swimming, biking, and boxing!
OTC: Are you an early bird or a night owl?
AL: Night owl. Don't even try waking me up in the morning.
OTC: Which question do you hate answering?
AL: "What do you want to study in college?"
OTC: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
AL: Hopefully pursuing some of my dreams as well as studying!
OTC: Professionally, what’s your goal?
AL: Along with modeling I'd like to become a certified Nutritionist!
OTC: What is your ultimate goal in life?
AL: Be happy and successful!
OTC: What advice would you give your younger self?
AL: Ignore the haters!!! Don't change yourself because of envious hateful people. Love yourself and know your worth.
OTC: How do you take the perfect selfie?
AL: Lighting is key!
OTC: What’s your go-to Snapchat filter?
AL: The Puppy Filter. It's so adorable.
OTC: What do you do when you’re Off The Clock?
AL: Chill and listen to music!
OTC: Would you rather model swimsuits or lingerie?
AL: Swimsuits! I have a collection!

AL: -To travel the world

AL: Dogs, they actually bond with you.

AL: Boyfriend Jeans and a cute tee-shirt.

AL: Yes!

AL: Somebody who has goals and hustle. Open-minded, kind, funny, loves art and traveling, etc.

AL: Cute little coffee shop and talking about things we like!
OTC: Do you have a “worst first date” story?
AL: Not really!
OTC: What is the worst thing about dating?
AL: Guys can be so shy at first! Just be straight up!
OTC: Do you have any cringe-worthy stories of a guy’s failed attempt to pick you up?
AL: Luckily no.
OTC: Where’s the best place for a guy to try and pick you up?
AL: Coffee shop or some cool place I like being at.
