Model Interviews

Remi Martinii

I discovered Remi randomly on Instagram one day, and instantly fell in love with her blog. It is entertaining, and she's definitely not hard to look at! I added her on Snapchat a few months ago and we've been getting pretty close. We were actually planning a trip to go to Mexico, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Hopefully we'll figure something out so I can actually add something to the travel section of my blog haha! Check out the interview below, and be sure to follow her on Instagram, Snapchat, and her blog!

OTC: What’s your name?

R: Remi.

OTC: How old are you?

R: 22.

OTC: How did you get into modeling/blogging?

R: I got into modeling at the age of 15, and was discovered by a well known photographer from The Bahamas, Christine Demeritte (CEO of ICANDY Studios). I only started my blog recently in October 2015 . Blogging is something that I always had an interest in and I just pushed myself to do it.

OTC: What can readers find on your blog?

R: My blog is a lifestyle blog and it contains 'A Little Bit of Everything'. It has my favorite healthy recipes, make up and beauty tips, my favorite restaurants in London , a little bit of fashion as well as my travels.

OTC: Would you consider yourself more of a model, or more of a blogger?

R: Tricky question, I would have to say its a tie between the two. I would consider myself equally a blogger and model as I am equally passionate about both.

OTC: What’s it like living in London?

R: I am absolutely in LOVE with London. I love the busy city life. It does get exhausting at times, but I would not have it any other way. One thing that I appreciate most about the city is that it is so diverse.

OTC: Are you in college?

R: Yes, I study at the University of Westminster.

OTC: What are you studying?

R: I am in my second year of law school.

OTC: What is your dream job?

R: Model full time.

OTC: Would you rather be based somewhere else? Like NY or LA?

R: Los Angeles.

OTC: What inspires your blog posts?

R: It is just my way of life. I blog about the things that I enjoy most.

OTC: Have you made any friends in the modeling/blogging industry? How do you help each other?

R: Yes, I have made a few friends. I also have a few friends who were bloggers already and we always motivate each other by giving our opinions and advice on what we think works or doesn't work.

OTC: Who is your favorite model at the moment?

R: Gigi Hadid.

OTC: What do you do in your free time?

R: Well when I am not at University, I am working part time at Abercrombie & Fitch, modeling, traveling, shopping and blogging. I also love to party and have a good time. Positive vibes always!

OTC: Has Instagram contributed to your success, and if so, how??

R: Yes it has. Instagram is where I am able to showcase my blog most.

OTC: Is there any advice you would give to someone trying to get into blogging?

R: Patience is key, and never give up. If it is something that you really want and have a passion for, it will come in due time.

OTC: What’s the secret to getting and maintaining your killer body?

R: Well I have always been athletic and active when I was younger. I try to maintain a healthy diet most days of the week. Also I just recently started back at the gym.

OTC: Are you single?

 R: Yes I am .

OTC: What does your dream date night consist of?

R: Hmmm I would have to say something unique, but not corny.

OTC: Does modeling get in the way of your love life?

R: No, I don't think it does.

OTC: Victoria’s Secret or Calvin Klein?

R: This is such a tough decision because I love both, but I would have to go with Victoria Secret.

OTC: Netflix or chill?

R: Haha I would definitely have to say chill!  Netflix honestly needs to step their game up and have better movies and TV Shows.

OTC: Where can people find you on weekends?

R: Well, my favorite clubs in London are Tape and Maddox. Also, Temple is my favorite shisha spot. My favorite breakfast place in London is the Breakfast Club.
